Benching

All of our benching is manufactured to order, meaning we can make a bench to your preferred dimensions, with your preferred bench top out of weldmesh, timber slat, aluminium sheet or polystyrene. Benching is constructed from plain aluminium but can be powder coated to match of complement your glasshouse frame.

Watertanks

Conserve your rainwater with one (or more) of our designer, slim-line aluminium water tanks. They can be wall mounted or can sit directly on the ground. Constructed entirely out of aluminium, these tanks are ideal for gardens with limited ground space. They come complete with a brass tap, which can be placed wherever you want, and a rainwater diverter kit to connect to your downpipe. The tanks can be in plain aluminium finish or can be powder coated to match or complement your glasshouse.

Heating

Our sister company, Hotbox International, manufacture heating and propagating products in the factory adjacent to ours. If you intend to continue growing over the winter, heating within your glasshouse is essential. The electrical fan heaters manufactured by Hotbox International have precise thermostatic controls to regulate the temperature within your glasshouse, you can use them to either frost protect your plants or heat your glasshouse. All different models are fitted with a summer setting as well, meaning the unit can be used as just an air circulator in summer to help keep your glasshouse cool.

Irrigation

Another product provided by Hotbox International, the Waterwand is a solar powered irrigation kit. The pump will water your plants depending on how much sunlight there has been every 3 hours to ensure your plants are getting a healthy amount of water throughout the day, even while you are away. The Waterwand takes water straight from a water tank or pond so there is no need for a mains water supply.

Propagation

A propagation unit large enough to hold plenty of seed trays, this unit has an enclosed heating element that provides uniform heat throughout the area. It is fitted with a precise thermostatic control that can be set between 6 and 38 degrees. The polycarbonate top will protect your plants and can also save you some money as there will be no need to heat the whole of your glasshouse.

Heatwave

A made-to-measure bench heating matt which provides uniform heat for propagation and germination. It also has a thermostatic control that can be set between 6 and 38 degrees, you can also attach more than one matt to a single thermostat

Coldframes

Essential for hardening off young plants before planting them out in your garden. Coldframes can either be placed alongside your glasshouse or anywhere in your garden. They are made from aluminium with 4mm toughened safety glass and an adjustable internal prop.

Louvre Vents

Available as optional extra side ventilation on the Varsity range of glasshouses, these 5 blade vents can be positioned almost anywhere, either above bench height or below to provide extra air circulation.

Automated Ventilation

As standard in our Victorian, and now our Varsity, glasshouses, the roof vents will be fitted with automatic wax stat openers that adjust the ventilation according to the temperature within the glasshouse. Automatic vent openers are also available for the side louvre vents on the Varsity

Cresting and Finials

These come as standard on our Victorian range. The Varsity is versatile enough to allow the addition of ridge decoration if requested.
