REFURBISHMENT OF DYFFRYN GARDENS

Cambridge Glasshouse Company Ltd has been thanked for its part in completing the restoration of a treasured Edwardian garden.

Dyffryn Gardens, located in the Vale of Glamorgan, has just completed an extensive 14 year, £6.15 million regeneration project. The reconstruction of an Edwardian glasshouse was the final major piece of the redevelopment. Designed and built to house rare orchids, a mature cacti collection and vinery, the glasshouse now forms a landmark structure in one of Wales’ premier regional heritage attractions.

This project is just the kind of challenge that Cambridge Glasshouse relish, reconstructing a glasshouse from a single photo, circa 1915, ensuring the new glasshouse was sensitive to its Grade 1 listed surroundings.
